Our experienced team are experts in the field of asbestos sampling and identifying products that could potentially contain asbestos fibres. However, it is simply not possible to be 100% certain with some materials without proper testing. In order to do this, a sample of the product is taken to a NATA approved laboratory for analysis. The laboratory will then provide us with a report identifying whether the product contains asbestos or not.  

We can take care of the whole process, including safe removal of the sample and delivery to the NATA laboratory.

This process costs from $132 (including GST) for our call out, this is dependent on location and the NATA laboratory costs which varies from $88 to $132 (including GST) depending on the turnaround requirement.  

Part of our commitment to our customers is that we will not suggest this service unless we deem it necessary. This means that if it would be cheaper to remove the product than it would be to get it tested, we would do this.

This is because it is more cost effective to pay for the removal as if it was asbestos than it would be to pay for sampling and then subsequently removal because the sample is positive.
